The symposium will bring together leading experts and pioneers of digital education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) from all over the world. Together with them, and with a special note on digital photonics education, we want to discuss, demonstrate and learn about new developments and approaches to teaching in these fields.

In a digital, interactive university environment, the Jena Online Symposium for Digital Education in STEM will feature, among others, keynote talks, VR landscape excursions and an exclusive virtual poster session.

The symposium will be held on November 29th to 30th, 2022 (Tuesday and Wednesday) in a unique digital setting called ASP-Gather.town, a virtuall twin of the research and teaching building Abbe Center of Photonics at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany.
