Igor Meglinski is a Professor in Biomedical Engineering and Biophotonics at the School of Engineering & Applied Science and the School of Life & Health Sciences at Aston University (UK), where he has been since 2019. His research interests lie at the interface between physics, biomedical engineering, medicine and life sciences, focusing on the development of new non-invasive imaging/diagnostic techniques and their application in medicine & biology, material sciences, pharmacy, food, environmental monitoring, and health care industries.
Igor will visit us as a Carl Zeiss Alliance Honorary Guest Lecturer in March 2023, and offering two lectures:
- Lecture 1: Dynamic Light Scattering for non-invasive diagnosis of blood and blood microcirculation, 22.03.2023 at 1 pm in the ACP auditorium
- Lecture 2: Spin and Orbital Momenta in Biomedical Diagnosis and Tissue Characterization, 27.03.2023 at 2pm in the ACP auditorium
Up-to-date information on the lectures will be published here
