Exciting lectures as well as poster sessions invited the participants to an overview of current research in the field of metallic nanostructures, which are suitable for areas such as bioanalytics thanks to their sensitivity. In addition, an interesting program surrounding the event with a historical look at the life and work of Otto Schott and glass technology as well as an excursion to Jena’s natural surroundings created space to exchange ideas and impulses, to deepen discussions, to ask questions and to network.
Molecular Plasmonics 2023 was organized by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Fritzsche (Leibniz IPHT) and Prof. Dr. Thomas Pertsch (Friedrich Schiller University Jena) in collaboration with the Collaborative Research NOA – Nonlinear Optics down to Atomic scales.
We look back on three very successful days and are already looking forward to 2025, when Molecular Plasmonics will start its next round!
