Certificate: After completion of the Training Programme, participants can receive a certificate of attendance upon request.
Modern quantum technology and the targeted generation, manipulation and use of individual quantum systems promise innovative applications, especially in the fields of communication, computing, and sensor technology. Application scenarios and future markets for the quantum industry and business are developing for these innovative approaches while a variety of state, federal and European initiatives are currently pushing these fields scientifically and technically. With this training programme, we offer an up-to-date overview of fundamentals and applications of photonic quantum technology.
This two-day on-site Training Programme offers a mix of
- introductory presentations
- hands-on lab experiments
- discussion sessions
You will get to know
- quantum sensing
- quantum communication
- quantum imaging
- suprconducting quantum devices (SQUIDs)
- quantum computing and sensing applications with SQUIDs
Furthermore, you will see real quantum applications at the Leibniz IPHT as well as tour some of our research labs.
You can register by sending an email to qp-tech.edu@uni-jena.de and the tentative schedule may be found herepdf, 235 kb · de.
