Welcoming new students to the Institute on the first days of their studies has become a cherished tradition.
A short talk about our research areas and a more in-depth look at the topic of microstructuring are intended to make participants interested in our lecture programme and opportunities at the IAP.
The LichtwerkstattExternal link also presented its range of services and a tour through laboratories and the grey area of the clean room illustrated how we work in practice.
At the meantime, the Beutenbergcampus is also attracting students' attention as a place of research outside the university campus and the physics hotspot at Max-Wien-Platz.

We wish that the students who visited us left with the impression that studying physics in Jena was the best choice and that we were able to pass on our enthusiasm. Hopefully we will see as many of the students as possible again, whether on an internship, as an assistant or perhaps even supervising their Bachelor's or Master's thesis.
